Stéphane Plassier

After a course in plastic art and art history at the University of Haute Bretagne in Rennes, Stéphane Plassier, precursor of a transversal approach, is involved in all fields of creation, his achievements encompass a infinite number of media: fashion, design, applied arts, plastic arts, and architecture. The simplicity of shapes, the work of color and humor establish the singularity of his style. If the absence of ornamentation is often its trademark, it can nevertheless leave room for abundance. Moving from the infinitely small to monumental sculptures, all areas fascinate him: clothing, luggage, watches, furniture, tableware, carpets, lighting, decorations... The mastery and method he acquires from manufacturers lead him to the artistic direction of living heritage companies (EPV) for which he designs collections and unique pieces, moving from the fragility of porcelain to the resistance of bronze.
